 Qualification:

 1. Scouts & Guides 'Level - 1' ( 12 Vacancies)
  • Minimum 10th Pass or ITI or equivalent at the time of applying.
2. Scouts & Guides 'Level - 2' (02 Vacancies)
  • Passed Matriculation or its equivalent with not less than 50% Marks in aggregate. 
  • Minimum percentage of 50% marks in aggregate is not applicable to SC/ ST candidates and to those candidates (irrespective of community), who possess qualifications higher than matriculation such as HSC / Intermediate/ Graduation/ Post Graduation.

Age Limit:

For Gen/ UR Candidates
  • Scouts & Guides 'Level - 1' : 18 to 33 Years
  • Scouts & Guides 'Level - 2' : 18 to 30 Years
Relaxation ( in Upper age limit )
  • 05 years for SC/ST candidates
  • 03 years for OBC candidates

Application Fee
  • For all candidates except the fee concession categories mentioned : 500
  • SC/ST / Ex-Serviceman / PWDs / Female / Transgender / Minorities / Economically backward class. : 250
Pay the Examination Fee through Demand Draft (DD)/ lndian Postal Order (IPO), drawn in favour of Chairman / RRC / Chennai payable at Chennai.


Pay Scale: 50,000 per annum


Selection Process:

 The selection will be on the basis
  • Written Test
  • Interview
  • Personality Test
  • Medical Examination.
