National Eligibility cum  Entrance Test (UG) (NEET) 2020  : will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses and other under graduate medical courses in approved/recognized Medical/Dental & other Colleges in India including the Institutions established under an Act of Parliament i.e. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry.

This is the single largest undergraduate medical entrance test for admission to MBBS  , BDS  and AYUSH courses: BHMS, BAMS  , BUMS, B.V.Sc & AH.

Qualification:
  • An applicant must have completed or appeared in class 12th with minimum 5 subjects. English, Chemistry, Physics are the compulsory subjects to apply. Private students, candidates of distance learning and those who have Biology as an additional subject are also eligible for the exam.
  • Percentage : Candidates in the 12th level must have secured minimum 50% marks for General & General-EWS categories; 45% marks for PH & 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC category candidates in PCB group.

Dress Code
National testing agency has specified dress code that candidates must be adhere to while appearing for NEET 2020. The course of action has been in place to safeguard that no malpractices; occur in the exam halls.
  • Full sleeves t-shirt or shirt are not allowed, candidates must wear the half sleeve shirts/t-shirts.
  • Wear light weight clothing without any big buttons, zippers or any elaborate embroidery.
  • Female aspirants should avoid outfits with embroidery, brooches and buttons. Salwars / Kurta and trousers are acceptable.
  • Shoes are not allowed. Slippers or sandals with low heels are acceptable in the examination hall.
  • Not metallic item or ornaments are allowed in the examination hall such as earrings, ring, pendants, nose ring, necklace etc.

Documents needed to apply for NEET 2020
  • Passport size Photograph of white background with file size 10 to 200 Kb in jpg format.
  • Postcard size (4"X6") photo with a white background (size: 50 Kb - 300 Kb)
  • Name of the candidate and date printed below the photograph is mandated.
  • Signature with file size 4 to 30 Kb in jpg format. Signature of candidate should be in black ink on white background and must not be in capitals.
  • Class 10 certificate with file size between 100 kb to 400 kb.
  • The left-hand thumb Impression on white paper with Blue Ink and scan for uploading, with file size must be between 10 kb to 50 kb.
  • Provide details of Aadhaar card at the time of NEET application
