Qualification:
- Masters Degree in the subject concerned with not less than 55% marks or its equivalent and good academic record .
- Must have passed a Comprehensive Test in the subject concerned specifically conducted for the purpose by UGC or any agency duly constituted by the state government in this behalf. - Experience as Legal Assistant for not less than 2 years in a Government Department or in an industrial or commercial undertaking or limited company registered under the Companies Act or public sector undertakings or Registered Private Sector undertakings wherein the Government have investments. OR Experience for not less than 2 years at the Bar as an Advocate. Exposure to computer operations is essential
- Graduate with Typewriting English (KGTE) Higher or Diploma in Commercial Practice.

- 2) Must possess Driver’s Badge and valid Driving Licence of 3 (three) years standing to drive Light Motor vehicle.
- 3) Proficiency in driving Light Motor Vehicles which is to be proved in a practical test including “H Test” & Road Test conducted by Kerala Public Service Commission during the course of selection. Only those who have passed “H Test” are eligible for “Road Test”.
- (1)Must have studied upto Standard VIII.
- (2)Proficiency in boat pulling,knots,splices and rigging,handling single cylinder motor boats,anchor work and swimming. The proficiency in the above work shall be assessed in a practical test conducted by the KPSC at the time of selection.
