Research Assistant
Candidates born between 13.09.1994 and 12.09.2000 (both days Aclusive) are eligible to apply for this post. (The select list prepared pursuant to this notification will be kept valid for a period of two years. But the name of a candidate who attains 28 years of age shall be deleted from the list as and when he/she attains that age)
Qualification : Kerala High Court Recruitment 2022
1. Translator
- Bachelor's degree in any subject awarded or recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala. The candidates appointed to the service will have to acquire the following qualifications within the period of probation:
- 1. High Court Office Procedure Test
- 2. Account Test (Lower).
- 3. Judicial Test or Civil Judicial Test and Criminal Judicial Test (Law Graduates are exempted from passing this test).
- Graduation in Law. Final year/semester law students are also eligible to apply. Applications of final year/semester law students will be considered only on production of the final year mark list and percentage certificate within 45 days from the date of closure of Step Il process (Refer clause 14(c)
- Translator : 450/-. (Rupees Four Hundred only). Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Unemployed Differently abled candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. For payment of fee, candidates should either use system generated Fee Payment Challan or pay online through Debit Card/ Credit Card/Net Banking by following instructions on the screen. Bank Transaction charges for Payment of application fee, if applicable, will have to be borne by the candidate. Fee once paid will not, in any case, be refunded.
- Research Assistant : There is no application fee required for Research Assistant Post
Selection Process : Kerala High Court Recruitment 2022
- Translator : Selection will be on the basis of Translation Test and interview. Maximum marks for the Translation Test is 50 and that of Interview is 10. The duration of the Translation Test is 2 hours. The syllabus for the translation test will be translation of English passage into Malayalam and vice versa, translation of English words / legal terms into Malayalam and vice versa. The minimum marks for being included in the ranked list is 20 marks in the Translation Test.
- Research Assistant : Selection will be on the basis of the viva voce examination.
