1. Route Manager Grade- M-2
  • Qualification: MBA Marketing / Finance / Aviation OR BE/B.Tech from a recognized university
  • Relevant Experience-Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to work under pressure to achieve the goals. Attention to detail is essential. Excellent PC skills with MS office.
  • Preference will be given to- Previous experience in Airline / Hotels in related functions or commercial / sales & marketing department of Hotels / Airlines.
2. Senior Assistant – Airport Services Grade – S- 3
  • Qualification-Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Relevant Experience- A minimum of 3 Years’ experience in an International Airline / Reputed GHA
  • Preference will be given to- Preference will be given to Candidates who have worked with Air India Express.
3. Senior Officer – Customer Delight Grade – M- 2
  • Qualification-Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Relevant Experience- A minimum of 3 Years’ experience in Customer Support of a Leading Banks / Hospitality Industry / Airline, exposure should have been in the following Areas- Net Promoter Score (NPS), Resolution of Customer issues and related communication, Customer Survey and related Analytics, Sound Knowledge on MS Office with excellent communication skills in English (Written & Spoken).
  • Preference will be given to- Preference will be given to candidates with proven experience in Customer Grievance redressal and with a sound knowledge of NPS and its related Data Analytics.
4. Assistant – HR Grade – S- 2
  • Qualification-Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Relevant Experience- A minimum of 2 Years’ experience in HR functions of a large organization.

5. Deputy Manager – Airport Services – DCS Coordinator Grade – M-3
  • Qualification-Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Relevant Experience-Minimum of 2years’ experience in an International Airline /Reputed Ground Handling Agency: Should have worked on Departure Control System and all areas of Flight Handling. Minimum of 05 Years’ experience in ITES specially catering to Departure Control System such as SITA, Amadeus, Sabre etc. Experience should be in DCS troubleshooting and DCS UAT.
  • Preference will be given to- Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in Altea / SDCS. and having done UAT, Migration / Cutover.
6. Officer – Crew Scheduling – Grade – M-1
  • Qualification-Graduate in any discipline / Engineering from a recognized university with proficiency in computer operations, windows Operating System, and MS office
  • Relevant Experience-Minimum 2 years’ experience in an airline. or similar experience in analytical data processing/ programming / Call Centre
  • Preference will be given to- Candidate with crew scheduling experience in a commercial airline
7. Sr. Officer- Flight Dispatch Grade – M-2
  • Qualification-Graduate with 10+2 or an equivalent Examination with Physics and Math’s from recognized University/Board as per DGCA requirement.
  • Relevant Experience-3 years’ experience in Flight Dispatch section in any Airline. Candidates should be proficient in computer operations, Windows, MS/Open office.Preference will be given to- 1. Candidates who have successfully completed a Flight Dispatcher training course/Exam.


8. Manager – Flight Dispatch Grade- M-4
  • Qualification-Graduate with10+2 Examination with Physics and Maths, from recognized University/Board as per DGCA requirement. This is not applicable in case of those already holding a valid DGCA Dispatcher approval on B737 type of aircraft.
  • Relevant Experience-1.DGCA approved Dispatcher as per current CAR or 2.Previous DGCA India Flight Dispatcher approval or 3. Individual holding a valid ALTP/CPL license.
  • Preference will be given to- 1. Endorsed Flight Dispatchers on B737 type of aircraft. 2. Experienced flight dispatchers holding current DGCA approval. 3. Candidates undergone English Proficiency test. 4.Candidates with good interpersonal and communication skills
9. Assistant Engineer -Technical Service
  • Qualification-First Class BE/ B. Tech in Electronics & Telecom /Electrical/ Mechanical/Aeronautical/ Aerospace Engineering.
  • Relevant Experience-Minimum 2 Years’ experience including training period in CAMO/Quality/ Engineering planning in the Aviation organization.
  • Preference will be given to- Thorough knowledge of CAR-M and regulations.
10. Chief Manager – Technical Services
  • Qualification-Graduation in Aeronautical/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics & Communication Engineering, from a recognized University/ Institution.
  • Relevant Experience-Minimum 20 Years of Aviation experience out of which minimum 10 Years’ experience in Technical Services of CAMO in a Scheduled airline.
  • Preference will be given to- Candidates who held senior positions in CAMO and have varied experience of dealing with regulators, aircraft leasing, aircraft maintenance etc. will be given preference.
11. Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME)
  • Qualification- 1. Professional Qualification: CAR 66 CAT B1/B2 License on B 737-800 Aircraft fitted with CFM 56-7B engines. 2. Minimum Academic Qualification: Must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Indian Board/ University.
  • Relevant Experience- Minimum 10 Years’ experience as a type rated AME on B737-800 Aircraft.
  • Preference will be given to-  AMEs having MCC experience and/or ARS/CAMO experience
12. Manager – Finance – Grade – M – 4
  • Qualification-CA
  • Relevant Experience-7 years of post-qualification experience in Finance Department of a large Organization / Airline. Experience in General accounting & preparation of MIS Reports, Business Plans, Budget Knowledge of Ind AS & Experience in preparation of Financial Statements. Experience in handling revenue management, AR & Customer reconciliations. Experienced in handling Accounts Payable and Vendor reconciliation Exposure to handling Statutory Audit /Internal Audit etc. Working knowledge of SAP –FICO, SD, & MM modules.

Selection Process : Air India Express Recruitment 2022

a) The Application Form of the candidate would be scrutinized and prima facie eligible candidates only, will be called for the selection procedure.

b) Selection Procedure involves:
  • Written Test
  • Personal Interview (s)
  • Pre-employment Medical Examination.
  • Candidates will have to bear the cost of the Pre-Employment Medical Examination(s), which could range between Rs.2,000/- and Rs.3,000/. Any additional tests, if required, the additional cost thereof will also have to be borne by the candidate.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be inducted as per vacancies and Reservation requirements, subject to being found FIT in the PEME.

General Information : Air India Express Recruitment 2022
  • a) Period of Contract: Selected Candidates will be appointed on fixed-term contract basis for a period of 05 years. The contract could be terminated at the discretion of the Management during the tenure of contract, and / or in the event of unsatisfactory performance or Company requirement.
  • b) Engagement beyond the period of contract will depend on the Company’s requirement / performance.
  • c) The candidates will initially be positioned at any city on the network as per the Company requirement.
  • d) The candidates will have to make their own arrangement for housing accommodation.
  • e) The Company, at its discretion, may assign additional duties, as and when required.
  • f) Based on requirements, the incumbents are also likely to be deployed to the parent company / Group / Air India Express affiliate sister concern / subsidiary, anywhere in India.
  • g) At any stage of the selection process in case it is detected that the particulars provided by the candidate in the Application Form or testimonials supplied are found to be incorrect / false or the candidate does not meet with any of the Eligibility Criteria prescribed for the post, or has suppressed any material fact(s), his / her application shall be treated as NOT ELIGIBLE and his/ her candidature will stand rejected.
  • h) Candidates must note that, if any shortcomings are detected, even after the appointment, his / her services are liable to be terminated, without giving any notice or reason therefor.
