The selection for the SSC Scientific Assistant IMD 2022 will be done on the basis of a Computer Based Examination containing 200 questions for 200 marks for two hours duration. The question paper will be divided into two parts i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2.

The written examination lasts two hours and consists of 200 questions. The question paper is divided into two parts, part I and part II.
- The exam will be conducted online.
- Each section in Part I contains 25 questions, each worth one mark.
- Part 2 consists of 100 questions worth a total of 100 points.
- 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- Both parts will take a total of two hours.
