1. Tax Assistant
- (i) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
- (ii) Possess a speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour for data entry work.
- i) 12th Class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
- ii) Skill Test Norms
- Dictation: 10 Minutes @ 80 words per Minute
- Transcription: 50 Minutes (English, on Computer), 65 Minutes (Hindi, on Computer)
- Matriculation or equivalent from any recognized Board
- Candidates will be required to possess the physical standards and pass physical tests as specified in the new Recruitment Rules.

Sports Eligibility : CBIC Recruitment 2023
The proficiency will be evaluated on the basis of their participation in recognized tournaments/ events in the calendar years 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018 and 2017 for which details should be furnished as Annexure I. The tournaments/ events will be evaluated in the following descending order of importance.
- a) International Tournaments/Events like Olympics & World Championship.
- b) International Tournaments/Events of Regional importance like Asian Games/ Commonwealth Games/ Afro Asian Games.
- c) Other International Tournaments/ Events like SAF Games.
- d) Domestic Tournaments/ Senior National level Events like National Games, National Federation Games etc.
- e) Domestic Tournaments/ Junior National level Events
- f) Inter University Tournaments.
- g) National School Games
- h) National physical efficiency / drive certificate holders.
