Qualification : Kerala Tourism Recruitment 2026

1. Food & Beverage Service Staff
  • Must have passed Pre-Degree / 10+2.
  • Technical Qualification: Must have passed a 1-year Craft Certificate Course in Food and Beverage Service from the Food Craft Institute (Government of Kerala) OR a 1-year Diploma in Food and Beverage Service from the Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology under the Central Ministry of Tourism.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of work experience as a Waiter/Butler/Captain in hotels with a 2-star classification or above.
2. Housekeeping Staff
  • S.S.L.C or equivalent qualification.
  • Technical Qualification: Must have passed a Craft Certificate Course in Hotel Accommodation Operation from the Food Craft Institute (Government of Kerala) OR a 1-year Diploma/PG Diploma in Hotel Accommodation Operation from the Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology under the Central Ministry of Tourism.
  • Experience: 6 months of work experience in Housekeeping in hotels with a 2-star classification or above.
3. Cook
  • S.S.L.C or equivalent qualification.
  • Technical Qualification: Must have passed a Food Production Craft Certificate Course from the Food Craft Institute (Government of Kerala) OR a 1-year Diploma in Cookery/Food Production from the Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology under the Central Ministry of Tourism.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of work experience as a Cook/Assistant Cook in hotels with a 2-star classification or above.
4. Assistant Cook
  • S.S.L.C or equivalent qualification.
  • Technical Qualification: Must have passed a Food Production Craft Certificate Course from the Food Craft Institute (Government of Kerala).
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of work experience as a Cook/Assistant Cook in hotels with a 2-star classification or above.
5. Receptionist
  • Must have passed Pre-Degree / 10+2.
  • Technical Qualification: Must have passed a Certificate Course in Front Office Operation from the Food Craft Institute (Government of Kerala).
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of work experience as a Front Office Assistant/Receptionist in hotels with a 2-star classification or above.
6. Kitchen Mate
  • S.S.L.C or equivalent qualification.
  • Technical Qualification: 1-year Food Production Craft Certificate from the Food Craft Institute (Government of Kerala).
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of work experience as a Cook/Assistant Cook in hotels with a 2-star classification or above.
