Qualification : IOCL Recruitment 2026
1. Graduate Engineer (Grade A)
- Full-time B.Tech/B.E. in relevant stream (Chemical, Civil, CS/IT, Electrical, E&C, Instrumentation, Mechanical). Minimum 65% aggregate for General/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD. Integrated/Dual degree candidates are eligible if completed by 30th September 2026.
- 2 years full-time MBA/PGDBA with specialization in Marketing. Minimum 60% aggregate for General/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD.
- Graduate degree + LLB (3 years) OR Integrated LLB (5 years) recognized by Bar Council of India. Minimum 60% aggregate for General/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD. Must have 2 years of post-qualification work experience.
- Master’s Degree in Chemistry (Inorganic, Organic, Analytical, Physical, Applied, Industrial) with minimum 60% aggregate for General/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD. Must have 2 years of experience in testing/R&D in petroleum/petrochemical unit or NABL accredited chemical testing lab.
- 3-year full-time regular Diploma in Engineering. Minimum 65% aggregate for General/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 55% for SC/ST. Safety stream also requires a 1-year Diploma in Industrial Safety. Higher professional degree holders (B.Tech, MBA, MCA, CA, etc.) are strictly NOT eligible for Grade E0.

- Section B (Domain Knowledge - 90 mins): 50 Questions.
