IBPS PO Syllabus & Exam Pattern 2021

SBI PO Syllabus & Exam Pattern: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the IBPS Syllabus & Exam Pattern for the post of  Management Trainee, Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees along with official notification of IBPS PO Recruitment 2021. The detailed IBPS PO Notification 2021 PDF has been released by the IBPS on 19 October 2021 announcing the revised dates to recruit 4135 vacancies of clerical posts in different 11 public sector banks. The IBPS PO exam occurs in two stages: Prelims and Mains. Both these papers follow the online method of conducting the written examination. The structure of the exam is as follow:

IBPS PO Prelims Exam Pattern 2021

The IBPS PO preliminary examination has a total duration of 1 hour and 20 minutes for each section, which will be conducted in online mode. It consists of 3 sections with a total of 100 questions and a maximum score of 100 marks. There is a negative marking in the IBPS PO pre-exam and 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates must clear the cut-off in all 3 sections to qualify for the IBPS PO Main exam. The section-wise details are given below:

IBPS PO Prelims Exam Syllabus: IBPS PO Preliminary Exam is the primary selection round of the IBPS PO 2021 Exam. Candidates who clear the preliminary exam are eligible to appear for the mains exam. The Preliminary Exam of IBPS PO comprises three major sections: Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language.

IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern 2021

The IBPO PO Main exam is also conducted online, it has 5(4+1) sections with a total score of 200+25 marks and total duration of 180+30 minutes. IBPS will be conducting a descriptive paper in its mains exam for selection of candidates to the post of Probationary Officer. The sections must be attempted in the same order and the allotted time as mandated at the time of the exam. A candidate has to clear both preliminary and mains examinations to be eligible for the interview process.

IBPS PO Mains Exam Syllabus: The mains exam is the important phase of IBPS PO 2021 Exam. Maximum weightage is given to score obtained by candidate in IBPS PO Mains Exam in the final selection to the post of Probationary Officer. The Mains Examination of IBPS PO exam 2021 consists of 4 + 1 sections: Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, English Language, Quantitative, Aptitude & General Awareness. Just like SBI PO 2021, IBPS has introduced a descriptive paper in its mains exam for the selection of candidates for the post of Probationary Officer.
