Qualification : Kerala Teacher Recruitment 2022
1. Sewing Teacher (High School)
- A Pass in S.S.L.C. Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. AND
- Group Certificate in Needle Work and dress making of the KGTE (Higher) or MGTE(Higher) OR Group Certificate in Tailoring of the KGTE (Higher) or MGTE(Higher) OR Group Diploma in Crafts issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. OR National Trade certificate in Cutting and Tailoring issued by the National Council for Training in Vocational Trades OR Diploma in Craftsmanship (Tailoring and Garment Making), awarded by the Director of Technical Education, Kerala. OR Diploma in Craftsmanship in Tailoring and Embroidery, awarded by the Director of Technical Education, Government of Kerala. OR National Trade Certificate in in Dress making awarded by National Council for Training in Vocational Trades OR Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFT) from M. G University. OR B.Sc Fashion & Apparel Design Technology (B.Sc FATD) from Kannur University OR B.Sc Costume & Fashion Designing from Calicut University OR Diploma in Fashion Designing issued by the Kerala Institute of Labour and Employment (KILE) OR Diploma in Fashion Designing awarded by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)
- Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala
- A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent.
- a) A pass in the Certificate of Physical Education issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. Note:- i) Certificate in Physical Education of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu states will be accepted as an alternate qualification OR b) A pass in the Vocational Higher Secondary Education Certificate Course in Physical Education conducted by the Board of Vocational Higher Secondary Educations, Kerala or its equivalent OR c) Any degree in Physical Education (Regular Course) such as B.P.Ed/M.P.Ed etc. conferred or recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala.
- A Pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent
- A Certificate of successful Completion of Nursery Training issued by the Kerala Government or the former Travancore – Cochin Government or the former Travancore or Cochin Government. OR Nursery Training Certificate issued by the Indian State Council for Child Welfare. OR Balasevika Training certificate issued by the State Council for Child Welfare. OR Pre- Primary Teachers Training Certificate issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala.
4. Higher Secondary School Teacher – Various Subject
- Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the respective subject by a University in Kerala.
- (i) B.Ed in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by a University in Kerala. (ii) In the absence of persons with B.Ed. Degree in the concerned subject, B.Ed Degree acquired in the concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala. (iii) In the absence of persons with B.Ed. Degree as specified in items (i) and (ii) above, persons with B.Ed. Degree in any subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by any of the Universities in Kerala.
- Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher conducted by the Government of Kerala or by the agency authorized by the State Government.
