1. Joint General Manager (Civil)
- B.Tech/B.E in Civil Engineering from any recognized university/institute. Preference will be given to the candidates having M.Tech. /M. E /post Graduate Degree in structures /off shore structures.
- B.Tech/B.E in Civil Engineering from any recognized university/institute. Preference will be given to the candidates having M.Tech. /M.E/post Graduate Degree or equivalent qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from Recognized university/Institute.
- B.Tech/B.E in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from any recognized university/institute.
- B.Tech/B.E or Three Year Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/Institute

Internal Candidates, including those currently on deputation, are not eligible to apply for this post.
- The officer being considered should not have worked (in the preceding 3 years) in an organization/office in any capacity having direct official dealings with KMRL.
