Salary Details : Cochin Shipyard Recruitment 2023
- First year : ₹37,000/- Consolidated pay (per month)
- Second year ₹38,000/- Consolidated pay (per month)
- Third year : ₹40,000/- Consolidated pay (per month)
- Compensation for Extra Hours of Work (per month) : ₹3,000/-
- a) The upper age limit prescribed for the posts shall not exceed 30 years as on 05 September 2023 i.e. applicants should be born on or after 06 September 1993.
- b) The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates in posts reserved for them.
- c) Age relaxation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen shall be as per Government of India guidelines. However, in no case, age limit after applying all age relaxations shall exceed 45 years.
1. Project Officer (Mechanical)
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 60% marks from a recognized University.
- Essential: Minimum of two years post qualification experience in a • Ship Building Company or • Ship Repair Company or • Marine related Company or • Port or • Engineering Company or • Government Company or Establishment or • Semi-Government Company or Establishment.
- Desirable: Proficiency and experience of working in a computerized environment.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering with 60% marks from a recognized University.
- Essential: Minimum of two years post qualification experience in a • Ship Building Company or • Ship Repair Company or • Marine related Company or • Port or • Engineering Company or • Government Company or Establishment or • Semi Government Company or Establishment.
- Desirable: Proficiency and experience of working in a computerized environment.
- Degree in Electronics/ Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering with 60% marks from a recognized University.
- Essential: Minimum of two years post qualification experience in a • Ship Building Company or • Ship Repair Company or • Marine related Company or • Port or • Engineering Company or • Government Company or Establishment or • Semi Government Company or Establishment.
- Desirable: Proficiency and experience of working in a computerized environment.
- Degree in Civil Engineering with 60% marks from a recognized University.
- Essential: Minimum of two years post qualification experience in a • Shipyard or • Port or • Engineering Company or • Civil Construction Company or • Infrastructure Development Company or • Government Company or Establishment or • Semi Government Company or Establishment.
- Desirable: Proficiency and experience of working in a computerized environment.
- Degree in Instrumentation Engineering with 60% marks from a recognized University.
- Essential: Minimum of two years post qualification experience in a • Ship Building Company or • Ship Repair Company or • Marine related Company or • Port or • Engineering Company or • Government Company or Establishment or • Semi Government Company or Establishment.
- Desirable: Proficiency and experience of working in a computerized environment.
- Engineering Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or Masters Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Information Technology with 60% marks from a recognized University.
- Experience: Minimum of two years post qualification experience in a • Shipyard or • Port or • Engineering Company or • Government Undertaking or • Public Sector Undertakings or • Private Sector Companies or • Private Sector or Public sector Banks or • Autonomous Bodies
- i) Application fee of ₹700/- (Non refundable, plus bank charges extra) should be remitted using the Online payment options (Debit card/Credit card/Internet Banking/wallets/UPI etc) which can be accessed through our Online application facility from 19 August 2023 to 05 September 2023. No other mode of payment shall be accepted.
- ii) Applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) need not pay application fee. They are exempted from payment of application fee.
- iii) All applicants for whom the fee is applicable, i.e. except those belonging to SC/ST/PwBD, should pay the application fee as stipulated in the above clause. It is important to note that their candidature shall be considered only on receipt of application fee.
The method of selection shall be through Objective Type Online Test and Personal Interview. The marks shall be assigned to the following parameters for the final selection:
- Objective Type Test : 50 marks
- Personal Interview : 20 marks
- Relevant work experience as assessed by selection committee during interview and presentation : 30 marks
