Qualification : BSF Recruitment 2024

BSF Air Wing

1. Assistant Aircraft Mechanic (ASI)

• i) (a) Three years Diploma in the relevant trade recognized by the Directorate General Civil Aviation; or (b) Group "X" Diploma issued by the Indian Air Force.
• (ii) Preferably two years relevant aviation experience after completion of Diploma course.

2. Assistant Radio Mechanic (ASI)

• i) (a) Three years Diploma recognized by the Directorate General Civil Aviation in Telecommunication or Electronic Engineering; or (b) Group "X" Radio Diploma issued by the Indian Air Force.
• (ii) Preferably two years experience in maintenance or overhauling of Communication or Navigation equipment fitted in Aircraft or Helicopter held by Border Security Force.

3. Constable (Storeman)

• i) Matriculation pass with Science; or equivalent from a recognized Board.
• (ii) Must have two years working experience in store or warehousing of any Govemment or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Organization or any company or private firm or Institution.
• (iii) Working knowledge in computer or having prior aviation experience is preferable.

BSF Engineering (Group-B)

4. Sub-Inspector (Works)

• Pass Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central Government or State Government.

5. Sub-Inspector Junior Engineer (Electrical)

• Pass Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central Government or State Governments.

6. HC (Plumber)

• Matriculation pass or its equivalent with Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in the trade of Plumber or three years' experience in the respective trade from reputed firm.

7. HC (Carpenter)

• Matriculation pass or its: equivalent with Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in the trade of Carpenter or three years' experience in the respective trade from reputed firm.

8. Constable (Generator Operator)

• Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board with Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade (i.a. Electrician or Wireman or Diesel Motor Mechanic) from a recognized institute and three years' experience in the respective trade from a firm recognized by the Central or State Govemment.

9. Constable (Generator Mechanic)

• Matriculation or equivalent from recognized Board with Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Diesel Motor Mechanic from a recognized institute and three years' experience in the respective trade from a firm recognized by the Central or State Goverment.

10. Constable (Lineman)

• Matriculation or equivalent from recognized Board with Industrial Training institute Certificate from a recognized institute in the trade of Electrical Wireman or Lineman and three years' experience in the respective trade from a firm recognized by the Central or State Government.
