Age Limit : Cochin Shipyard Recruitment 2024

• a) The upper age limit prescribed for the posts shall not exceed 35 years as on 12thApril 2024 i.e. applicants should be born on or after 12th April 1989.
• b) The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates in posts reserved for them.
• c) Age relaxation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen shall be as per Government of India guidelines. However, in no case, age limit after applying all age relaxations shall exceed 50 years.

Qualification : Cochin Shipyard Recruitment 2024

1. Senior Project Officer (Mechanical)

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 60% marks from a recognized University.

2. Senior Project Officer (Electrical)

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with 60% marks from a recognized University.

3. Senior Project Officer (Instrumentation)

• Degree in Instrumentation Engineering with 60% marks from a recognized University.

Application Fee : Cochin Shipyard Recruitment 2024

• i) Application fee of ₹ 400/- (Non-refundable, plus bank charges extra) should be remitted using the Online payment options (Debit card/Credit card/Internet Banking/wallets/UPI etc) which can be accessed through our Online application facility from 22nd March 2024 to 12thApril 2024. No other mode of payment shall be accepted.
• ii) Applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) need not pay application fee. They are exempted from payment of application fee.
• iii) All applicants for whom the fee is applicable, i.e. except those belonging to SC/ST/PwBD, should pay the application fee as stipulated in the above clause. It is important to note that their candidature shall be considered only on receipt of application fee.Pay the Examination Fee through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking.

Selection Process : Cochin Shipyard Recruitment 2024

The method of selection shall be through Objective Type Written Test and Personal Interview. The marks shall be assigned to the following parameters for the final selection:

• Objective Type Test - 50 marks
• Personal Interview – 20 marks
• Relevant work experience as assessed by selection committee during interview and presentation - 30 marks
