- Certificate of Competency as Serang / 2nd Class Masters / 1st Class Masters issued as per Harbour Craft Rules / I.V Act 1917
- Basic STCW courses
- Holding Navigational watch Keeping certificate as per STCW Reg. IV/2
- Desirable qualification: Preference to candidate holding higher grade Certificate of Competency.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years experience as Serang
- 10th Std Pass.
- Basic STCW courses
- Desirable qualification: Certificate of Competency as Serang / issued as per Harbour Craft Rules / I.V Act 1917
- Experience: Minimum 2 years experience on a floating craft as seaman
- 10th Std Pass.
