Qualification : Kannur Airport Recruitment 2024

1. Chief Security Officer (CSO)

• Essential - Graduate in any discipline with certification in Basic AVSEC course conducted by BCAS. Desirable - Any other certification conducted by BCAS. Working knowledge of computer operation. Preference will be given to Defence Personnel or Para Military or Police or from BCAS.
• Experience: Minimum 15 years total experience out of which minimum 5 years in the Senior position in Airport / Aviation security related activity. Should be able to implement all security related procedures in line with Airport Security programme and Airport Quality programme. Should be well versed in BCAS regulatory requirements.

2. Senior Manager (ARFF)

• Full time Bachelors’ Degree in Automobile / Mechanical /Fire Engineering from any UGC recognized university/ institute OR Successful completion of Divisional Fire Officers course from National Fire Services College, Nagpur OR 3 years approved regular diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile / Fire / Electrical / Electronics and GiFire with Level 4 Certification or above from Institution of Fire Engineers OR Graduate in Science and successfully completed Senior Fire Officer course from AAI
• Experience: 15 years total experience of which minimum of 5 years should be in the position of Manager or above or equivalent in Domestic/ International / Defence Airport fire services.
• Should meet the necessary physical standards required for the post.

3. Assistant Manager (ARFF)

• Essential - Graduate membership from IFE (India/UK) or Graduate from a recognised university, BTC from ICAO recognized training centre having Valid Heavy Vehicle License OR
• Diploma in Fire Engineering from a Govt.Institute or Basic Training in Fire & Rescue operations from any Govt. approved institute. Desirable - Junior Fire Officer / Sup Qualified / Rosenbauer CFT certified.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years’ experience in an International Airport Fire Services with at least 4 years in Junior management / supervisory role. OR
• Retired Junior Commissioned Officer from Indian Air force, Indian Navy or Indian Army, worked in aviation wing, with minimum 15 years’ experience in Aircraft Rescue & fire-fighting services having Valid Heavy Vehicle License.
