• Candidates born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2008 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply
• In case, a candidate clears all the stages of the Selection Procedure, then the upper age limit as on date of enrolment should be 21 years

Qualification : Indian Air force Agniveer Recruitment 2025

1. Science Subjects.

• Candidates should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR
• Passed Three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from Central, State and UT recognized Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Diploma Course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course). OR
• Passed Two years Vocational Course with non-vocational subject viz. Physics and Mathematics from Education Boards recognized by central, State and UT with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Course (or in Intermediate / Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course).

2. Other than Science Subjects

• Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects from Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR
• Passed two years Vocational Course from Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50 marks in English in Vocational Course (or in Intermediate / Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course).

Physical Standards

• Height: For Male Candidates height is 152.5 cms; For female Candidates 152 cms for candidates belonging to North East or hilly regions of Uttarakhand, a lower minimum height of 147 cms will be accepted. In case of candidates from Lakshadweep, the minimum height will be 150 cms
• Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
• Chest: For Male Candidates Minimum chest: 77 cms and the chest expansion should be atleast 05 cms, For Female Candidates: chest wall should be well proportioned and well developed with the minimum range of expansion of 05 cms
• Hearing: Should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 06 meters by each ear separately
• Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.For More Details refer the Notification.

Visual Standards

• Visual Acuity: 6/12 each eye, correctable to 6/6 each eye
• Maximum limits of Refractive error: Hypermetropia:+2.0D Myopia: 1D including ± 0.50 D Astigmatism
• Colour Vision: CP-II

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

• 1.6 Km run to be completed within 07 minutes for Male and within 08 minutes for Female.
• Candidates shall also have to complete 10 Push-ups, 10 Sit-ups and 20 Squats within the stipulated time to qualify in the Physical Fitness Test.

• Examination fee of Rs.550/- plus GST is to be paid online by the candidate while registering for the online examination.

Selection Process : Indian Airforce Agniveer Recruitment 2025

Phase-I: Online Test

• Science Subjects: 60 minutes.
• Other than Science Subjects: 45 minutes.
• Both: 85 minutes.

Marking Scheme:

• +1 for correct answers.
• -0.25 for incorrect answers.

Phase-II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

• 1.6 km run (7 minutes for males, 8 minutes for females).
• Push-ups, sit-ups, and squats.

Phase-III: Medical Examination

• Conducted by Air Force Medical Team as per IAF standards.

Adaptability Tests I & II

• Suitability assessment for IAF operations and military lifestyle.
