- The basic pay of Sub Lt starts from Rs. 56100/- alongwith other allowances as admissible
- Born between 02 July 2000 and 01 January 2006 (both dates inclusive).
A candidate must have minimum 60% marks in English in class X or XII and one of the undermentioned educational qualification with minimum 60% overall qualifying marks, in either or a combination of the following: -
- (a) MSc / BE / B Tech / M Tech (Computer Science / Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Engineering / Information Technology / Software Systems / Cyber Security / System Administration & Networking / Computer Systems & Networking / Data Analytics / Artificial Intelligence), OR
- (b) MCA with BCA / BSc (Computer Science / Information Technology)

- Shortlisting of Applications: Based on normalized marks obtained in the qualifying degree., BE/B.Tech: Marks up to the 5th semester., Postgraduate (MSc/M.Tech/MCA): Marks up to the pre-final year or all semesters.
- SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email/SMS., The interview includes psychological, group, and individual tasks.
- Medical Examination: Candidates recommended by SSB must undergo a medical examination.
- Final Merit List: Prepared based on SSB performance and medical fitness.
- Training: Selected candidates will undergo six weeks of Naval Orientation Course at INA, Ezhimala, followed by professional training at naval establishments.
- Tenure of Commission: Initially for 10 years, extendable up to a maximum of 14 years based on service requirements and performance.
