• Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs.33,900/- per month (i.e. Rs.20,700/- plus nine advance increments admissible to Junior Engineers) in the scale of ₹20700 – 1200 (3) – 24300 – 1440 (4) - 30060 – 1920 (6) – 41580 – 2080 (2) – 45740 – 2370 (3) – 52850 – 2850 – 55700 and other allowances, as admissible from time to time. At present, initial monthly Gross emoluments for Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical) is approximately Rs.80,236/-

Age Limit : RBI Recruitment 2025

• Minimum Age: 20 years
• Maximum Age: 30 years

Relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.

Qualification : RBI Recruitment 2025

1. Junior Engineer (Civil)

• Candidates must have a minimum of a diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution with at least 65% marks or equivalent. Candidates with a degree in Civil Engineering are also eligible to apply.

2. Junior Engineer (Electrical)

• Candidates must possess a diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with at least 65% marks or a degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience: Candidates should have at least 2 years of work experience in the respective field for diploma holders or 1 year of experience for degree holders.

• General/OBC/EWS : Rs.450
• SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen : Rs.50

• Online Examination (CBT): The examination will include sections on Reasoning, English Language, General Awareness, and Professional Knowledge related to the respective discipline.
• Language Proficiency Test (LPT): Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the local language of the state or union territory for which they are applying.

Selected candidates will be initially posted in the Bank’s office within the Recruitment Zone for which they had applied. However, they are liable to be transferred, in administrative exigencies to centers grouped and classified into East, West, North, South and Central Zone offices as under:

• (i) East Zone: Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Patna, Ranchi, Shillong, Agartala, Gangtok, Aizwal, Imphal, Itanagar, Kohima
• (ii) West Zone: Ahmedabad, Mumbai (including Belapur, Byculla), Pune, Panaji
• (iii) North Zone: Chandigarh, Shimla, Jaipur, Jammu / Srinagar, Kanpur, Lucknow, Dehradun, New Delhi.
• (iv) South Zone: Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram
• (v) Central Zone: Bhopal, Raipur, Nagpur, Hyderabad.
