Qualification : UPSC Recruitment 2025

1. Dangerous Goods Inspector
  • A degree in any discipline.
  • Having Undergone a Category-6 Dangerous Goods training course duly approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) or International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) or International Air Transport Association (IATA).
  • Experience: Total experience of Five years as under: Five years’ experience in handling of air cargo in scheduled operations
2. Assistant Professor (Chemistry)
  • Master’s Degree in Chemistry subject with 55 % marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) from a recognized University/Institute. (ii) Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET- Chemistry), conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET (State Level Eligibility Test) OR who are OR have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in related subject of Chemistry in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. OR
  • Ph.D. degree in related subject of Chemistry from a foreign University/Institution
3. Assistant Professor (Commerce)
  • Master’s Degree in Commerce subject with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) from a recognized University/Institute. (ii) Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET- Commerce), conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET (State Level Eligibility Test) OR who are OR have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in related subject of Commerce in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. OR
  • Ph.D. degree in related subject of Commerce from a foreign University/Institution.
4. Assistant Professor (Computer Science)
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science subject with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET- Computer Science), conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET (State Level Eligibility Test) OR who are OR have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in related subject of Computer Science in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET OR
  • Ph.D. degree in related subject of Computer Science from a foreign University/Institution.
5. Assistant Professor (English)
  • Master’s Degree in English subject with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET- English), conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET (State Level Eligibility Test) OR who are OR have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in related subject of English in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. OR
  • Ph.D. degree in related subject of English from a foreign University/Institution.
6. Assistant Professor (Geography)
  • (i) Master’s Degree in Geography subject with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET- Geography), conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET (State Level Eligibility Test) OR who are OR have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in related subject of Geography in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. OR
  • Ph.D. degree in related subject of Geography from a foreign University/Institution.
7. Assistant Professor (Hindi)
  • Master’s Degree in Hindi subject with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET-Hindi), conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET (State Level Eligibility Test) OR who are OR have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in related subject of Hindi in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. OR
  • Ph.D. degree in related subject of Hindi from a foreign University/Institution.
8. Assistant Professor (History)
  • Master’s Degree in History subject with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET-History), conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET (State Level Eligibility Test) OR who are OR have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in related subject of History in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. OR
  • Ph.D degree in related subject of History from a foreign University/Institution.
9. Assistant Professor (Physics)
  • Master’s Degree in Physics subject with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET- Physics), conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET (State Level Eligibility Test) OR who are OR have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in related subject of Physics in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. 10. Assistant Professor (Plant Science)
  • Master’s Degree in Plant Science subject with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET- Plant Science), conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET (State Level Eligibility Test) OR who are OR have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in related subject of Plant Science in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. 11. Assistant Professor (Political Science)
  • Master’s Degree in Political Science subject with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) from a recognized University/Institute.

12. Assistant Professor (Zoology)

  • Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET- Zoology), conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET (State Level Eligibility Test) OR who are OR have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in related subject of Zoology in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET OR

13. Assistant Professor (Commerce)
  • Master’s Degree in Commerce subject with 55 % marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) from a recognized University/Institute.
