Age Limit : SSC JHT Recruitment 2025
- For the post of Sub-Inspector (Hindi Translator) in CRPF : 18 - 30 Years. candidates born not before 25-06-1995 and not later than 26-06-2007.
- For all other posts: 18 to 30 years as on 01-08-2025, i.e., candidates born not before 02-08-1995 and not later than 01-08-2007 are eligible to apply.

For post codes ‘A’ to ‘C’ (Junior Hindi Translator / Junior Translation Officer / Junior Translator in various Central Govt. Ministries:
- Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR
- Master’s degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR
- Master’s degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the degree level; OR
- Master’s degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR
- Master’s Degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level and
- Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years‟ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.
- Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR
- Master’s degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR

Selection Process : SSC JHT Recruitment 2025
- The examination will consist of two papers.
- Paper-I will consist of Objective Type Multiple choice questions only.
- There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I.
