- Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’ (Post Codes 01-03) : Pay Level 11 in the Pay Matrix (Rs.67,100–Rs.2,08,700).
- Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Post Codes 04-16) : Pay Level 10 in the Pay Matrix (Rs.56,100–Rs.1,77,500).
- Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’ (Post Codes 01-03) : 18 - 35 years as on 12.02.2026.
- Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Post Codes 04-11, M.E./M.Tech based recruitment) : 18 - 30 years as on 12.02.2026.

Qualification : ISRO SAC Recruitment 2026
1. Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’ (Post Code 01 – RF and Microwave)
- PhD in fields related to RF and Microwave Engineering, with essential qualifications including M.E./M.Tech/MSc (Engg)/MS/MSc or equivalent with aggregate minimum 60% or CGPA 6.5; and/or B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg) or equivalent with aggregate minimum 65% or CGPA 6.84; and/or B.Sc with 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 on a 10 point scale, in relevant fields.
- PhD in fields related to Electronics and Communication/Wireless Communication/Satellite Communication/Digital Communication, with essential M.E./M.Tech/MSc (Engg)/MS/MSc or equivalent with minimum 60% or CGPA 6.5 and/or B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg) or equivalent with minimum 65% or CGPA 6.84 and/or B.Sc with 60% or CGPA 6.5, in related disciplines.
- PhD in Agricultural Physics/Agricultural Meteorology or related fields, with essential MSc/MS/M.E./M.Tech/MSc (Engg) or equivalent with minimum 60% or CGPA 6.5 and/or B.Sc/B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg) with minimum 65% or CGPA 6.84 and/or B.Sc with 60% or CGPA 6.5, in relevant fields.

- There is no application fee for the post of Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’ (Post Codes 01-03).
- For all applicants for other posts, an application fee of Rs.750/- has to be paid uniformly at the initial stage.
- Refund of application fee is available only to candidates who appear in the written test: full refund for candidates exempted from fee (women, SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen), and refund of ₹500 (after deducting Rs.250 as application fee) for other candidates.
- Candidates must provide correct bank account details for receipt of refund; SAC (ISRO) will not be responsible for non-receipt due to incorrect details.

- Interview (100% weightage for SD posts; 50% weightage for SC posts)
