Salary Details : RBI Recruitment 2026
- Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of ₹29,000/- per month in the scale of Rs.29,000– 1700 (3) – 34100 – 2040 (4) - 42260 – 2720 (6) – 58580 – 2950 (2) – 64480 – 3370 (3) – 74590 – 4050 (1) – Rs.78,640 and other allowances, as admissible from time to time. At present, initial Monthly Gross Emoluments (without HRA) for Assistant will be approximately ₹58,514/-.
- House Rent Allowance of 15% of Pay will be paid to them, additionally, if they are not staying in Bank’s accommodation
- Between 20 and 28 years. Candidates born not earlier than 02/02/1998 and not later than 01/02/2006 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply.
- SC/ST : 05 years
- OBC : 03 years
- PwBD : 10 years (General/EWS), 13 years (OBC), 15 years (SC/ST)
- Ex-servicemen : Extent of service plus 3 years, subject to maximum 50 years
- Widow/Divorced Women : Up to 35 years (40 years for SC/ST)
Qualification : RBI Recruitment 2026
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC.
- A candidate belonging to Ex-servicemen category (except dependents of exservicemen) should either be a graduate from a recognized University or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defence service.
- Candidates applying for post in a particular Recruiting Office should be proficient in the language (i.e., know to read, write, speak and understand the language) of the state/ any of the states falling under the Recruiting Office.
- General/OBC/EWS : Rs.450/- plus 18% GST
- SC/ST/PwBD/EXS : Rs.50/- intimation charges plus 18% GST

Selection Process : RBI Recruitment 2026
- Preliminary Examination (Objective, 100 marks, 60 minutes)
- Main Examination (Objective, 200 marks, 135 minutes)
- Language Proficiency Test (LPT) (qualifying in Official/Local Language of the applied state)
- Final selection on the basis of Main Examination marks + qualifying in LPT
