Based on standard Government of India pay scales for this rank (Level 10 of the 7th Pay Commission), the salary structure typically includes:

• Pay Level: Level 10.
• Basic Pay: The starting basic pay for an Assistant Commandant (Group A) is generally Rs.56,100 Per Month.
• Additional Allowances: In addition to basic pay, officers are entitled to various allowances as per government rules, which may include: Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) or official accommodation, Transport Allowance (TA), Ration Money, Special Duty Allowance (depending on the location of posting), Medical facilities and other benefits.
