Qualification : Kochi Water Metro Recruitment 2026
1. Assistant Boat Master
- 12th or 10th with ITI (Metric); 2) Valid Serang Master Class 3 Certificate (In compliance with IV rules 2022).
- Desirable: ITI/ Diploma in Automobile/ Mech/ Electrical/Electronics
- Experience (as on 31st March 2026): Minimum 6 years' experience in sea going/ inland vessels, out of which 2 years post certification experience as Serang /Master Class 3.
- 12th or 10th with ITI (Metric); 2) Valid Engine Driver Class 2 (in compliance with IV Rules) & Serang/ Master Class 3 Certificate (In compliance with IV rules 2022).
- Desirable: ITI/ Diploma in Automobile/ Mech/ Electrical/Electronics
- Experience (as on 31st March 2026): Minimum 6 years' experience in sea going/ inland vessels, out of which 2 years post certification experience as Engineer Driver Class 2 / Boat Engineer/ Operator in sea or inland vessels.
- Diploma in Engineering (Mech/Elec/Elec/Inst/CS/IT). Higher qualification B.Tech in same fields also considered.
- Experience (as on 31st March 2026): Minimum 3 years post qualification experience for B.Tech and minimum 5 years for Diploma holders in relevant fields (Operation/Maintenance of Boats, Ships, ITS, AFC systems, etc.).
- CA/CMA/ICWA or CA (Inter)/CMA (Inter)/ Master's Degree in Commerce.
- Experience (as on 31st March 2026): * CA/CMA: Min 5 years post qualification experience.
- Others: Min 8 years post qualification experience in Accounting/Auditing/Finance.
- Minimum 60% marks in ITI (Fitter, Electrician, Electronics, Machinist, AC Mechanic and Diesel Mechanic pass out in the year 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026. Result awaiting will not be considered. Or GPR License Certificate. (In the absence of GPR qualified candidates, others will also be considered however they will be paid reduced stipend of Rs.7000/month and upon obtaining GPR certificate, they will be paid full stipend of Rs.9000/month as notified).
- After completion of one year training those holding GPR certificate will also be qualified for Advanced training for further 2 years (only for GPR license holder).
- Minimum 60% marks in Diploma in (Electrical/Mechanical/ Electronics) pass out in the year 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026. Result awaiting will not be considered.
- Experience: Freshers
