According to the document, although candidates are initially posted in the office within the Recruitment Zone they applied for, they are liable to be transferred due to administrative exigencies to centers grouped as follows:
- East Zone: Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Patna, Ranchi, Shillong, Agartala, Gangtok, Aizawl, Imphal, Itanagar, and Kohima.
- West Zone: Ahmedabad, Mumbai (including Belapur and Byculla), Pune, and Panaji.
- North Zone: Chandigarh, Shimla, Jaipur, Jammu/Srinagar, Kanpur, Lucknow, Dehradun, and New Delhi.
- South Zone: Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, and Thiruvananthapuram.
- Central Zone: Bhopal, Raipur, Nagpur, and Hyderabad.
- Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of ₹47,700/- per month (i.e. Rs.29,000/- plus nine advance increments admissible to Junior Engineers) in the scale of ₹29000 - 1700 (3) - 34100 - 2040 (4) – 42260 - 2720 (6) - 58580 - 2950 (2) - 64480 - 3370 (3) - 74590 - 4050 (1) - Rs.78,640 and other allowances, as admissible from time to time. At present, initial monthly Gross emoluments for Junior Engineer (Civil/ Electrical) is approximately Rs.91,309/-
- The House Rent Allowance of 15% of Pay will be paid if accommodation is not provided by the Bank.
- Between 20 and 30 years. Candidates born not earlier than 02/04/1996 and not later than 01/04/2006 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply.

1. Junior Engineer (Civil)
- Minimum three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised Institute or University or Board with minimum 65% of marks (55% for SC/ ST/ PwBD) or Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised University with 55% marks (45% for SC/ ST/ PwBD).
- Minimum three years Diploma in Electrical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognised Institute or University or Board with minimum 65% of marks (55% for SC/ST/ PwBD) or Degree in Electrical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognised University with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/ PwBD).
- General/OBC/EWS : Rs.450/- plus 18% GST
- SC/ST/PwBD/EXS : Rs.50/- intimation charges plus 18% GST
Selection Process : RBI Recruitment 2026
Selection consists of an Online Examination (300 marks) followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT).
Exam Structure:
- English Language: 50 questions (50 marks).
- Engineering Discipline Paper I: 40 questions (100 marks).
- Engineering Discipline Paper II: 40 questions (100 marks).
- General Intelligence and Reasoning: 50 questions (50 marks).
Negative Marking: 1/4th mark deduction for each wrong answer.
LPT: Mandatory and conducted in the official/local language of the zone.
