Wages and Duty Pattern
- As per G.O.(P) No.81/2019/Fin dated 09/07/2019, the wage is fixed at Rs.715 per 8-hour duty.
- An Overtime Allowance of Rs.130 per hour will be paid for extra working hours (including sign-in & sign-off times).
- If overtime exceeds 5 hours, it will be considered as the next duty. Rest times between services will not count as additional duty but will be eligible for extra batta.
- Employees are entitled to 1 duty per day and 1 weekly off based on the company's duty roster.
- Employees are bound to follow the duty pattern governed by the Motor Transport Workers Act 1961 / Rules 1962.
- Allowances like kilometer allowance, night allowance, collection batta, and PF will be provided as applicable.

Mandatory Qualifications and Work Experience
- Education: Must have passed the 10th standard from a recognized Board/Institution.
- License: The candidate must possess a Heavy Driving License as per the MV Act 1988. If selected, they must also obtain a Conductor License from the Motor Vehicles Department within a specified timeframe.
- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in driving heavy passenger vehicles with a seating capacity of more than 30 seats.
- Desirable Qualification and Experience: Technical Knowledge: Knowledge about the functioning of vehicles and the ability to detect and rectify minor mechanical breakdowns is desirable.
- Health & Vision: Candidates must possess the physical health and vision required to work up to 10 hours in accordance with the provisions of the M.V. Act. Medical certificates obtained from a Government Doctor not below the rank of a Civil Surgeon and an Ophthalmologist must be produced.
- Mathematical Ability: Knowledge of basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) required for a conductor is mandatory.
- Literacy: Ability to read and write both Malayalam and English.
- Security Deposit: Selected candidates must execute a contract with KSRTC-SWIFT and submit a Demand Draft (DD) of ₹30,000 drawn in favor of the Chairman & Managing Director, KSRTC-SWIFT as an interest-free refundable security deposit.
- Mandatory Service Period: Candidates who successfully complete the training must mandatory serve KSRTC-SWIFT for two years (not less than 240 duties per year). Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the ₹30,000 security deposit.
- Police Verification: Selected candidates must produce a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) from their local police station within 10 days.

Provisions for Existing KSRTC Employees

- They will continue to receive their eligible salary from KSRTC, while eligible incentives, allowances, and batta will be provided by SWIFT.
- Preference will be given to employees who have 5 or more years of work experience in KSRTC.
- For operational matters (duty/schedule), only KSRTC-SWIFT's service conditions will apply to them, not KSRTC rules.
- KSRTC can initiate disciplinary actions and recover fines from their benefits based on reports of damages sent by KSRTC-SWIFT.
