1. Merit List Generation

  • No Extra Weightage: Higher educational qualifications (12th, Graduation, etc.) carry zero additional weightage.
  • Grade/Points Conversion: For boards issuing grades or CGPA, the system converts points to percentage using a standard multiplication factor of 9.5 (e.g., Grade Point 10 × 9.5 = 95%).
2. Tie-Breaking Order

If two or more candidates score identical percentages, selection is prioritized based on:
  • Age: Older candidates get higher preference.
  • Category & Gender Priority: Priority follows this order: ST Trans-woman > ST Female > SC Trans-woman > SC Female > OBC Trans-woman > OBC Female > EWS Trans-woman > EWS Female > UR Trans-woman > UR Female > ST Trans-male > ST Male > SC Trans-male > SC Male > OBC Trans-male > OBC Male > EWS Trans-male > EWS Male > UR Trans-male > UR Male.
3. Physical Document Verification (DV)
  • Shortlisted candidates receive notification via SMS/Email and must report to the designated Divisional/Unit Head within 15 days.
  • Required Documents (Originals + 2 sets of photocopies): 10th Marksheet, Date of Birth proof, Identity proof, Caste/EWS/PwBD Certificate (if applicable), Medical Certificate from a Govt. hospital, and Tribal/Local Language proficiency certificate (where applicable).
  • Marksheets are also verified digitally via API Setu / DigiLocker / Official Board Websites.

  • Candidates with successful DV receive an Offer of Provisional Engagement and must complete pre-joining formalities within 30 days (including 3 days of basic training and arranging Branch Office accommodation for BPMs).
