Qualification : Cochin Shipyard Recruitment 2026
1. Officer (Skill Development)
- Educational Qualification: Three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education or equivalent.
- Essential Experience: Experience in Government ITIs / Regional Instruction Centres as Inspector of Training / Principal Class I / Vice Principal / Principal Class II / Training Officer / Trade Test Officer.
- Desirable Experience: Experience in apprenticeship training matters and working knowledge in a computerized environment.
- Educational Qualification: Essential: Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university and Certificate of Competency (COC) as Marine Engineer Officer Class I (MEO Class 1) Unlimited Horse Power issued/recognized by DG Shipping, Govt. of India. Desirable: VICT or TOTA course certificate.
- Essential Experience: Must have sailed as Chief Engineer on Indian or Foreign going Ships.
- Educational Qualification: Essential: Certificate of Competency as Master Mariner (Foreign Going) issued by DG Shipping, Govt. of India. Desirable: VICT/TOTA and AECS certification.
- Essential Experience: Must have sailed as Master Mariner on Foreign going Tanker Ships.
- Educational Qualification: Essential: Degree in Electronics / Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering.
- Desirable: VICT or TOTA course.
- Essential Experience: Must have sailed as Electrical Officer on Foreign going Ships.
- Educational Qualification: 3-Year Diploma or Degree from a recognized university. Desirable: Knowledge in counseling and fluency in English and Hindi.
- Essential Experience: 3 years experience as Warden in a Ladies Hostel OR 5 years experience in Indian Armed Forces / Central Armed Police Force (CAPF).
