Salary Details : KSRTC SWIFT Recruitment 2026

Qualification : KSRTC SWIFT Recruitment 2026

1. Driver

• Pass in 9th standard from a recognized board/institution.
• Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) license with Heavy Goods and Heavy Passengers vehicle endorsements.
• 7 years of total motor vehicle driving experience, out of which at least 3 years must be on heavy motor vehicles (Not applicable for ex-servicemen with a heavy license).
• Must possess a valid heavy motor vehicle license during ground and road tests.

2. Conductor

• Pass in 10th standard from a recognized board/institution.
• Valid Conductor License under MV Act 1988 (candidates who haven't acquired it yet must submit it within 1 month of appointment).

3. Driver-cum-Conductor

• Pass in 10th standard from a recognized board/institution.
• Valid heavy driving license under the MV Act 1988 and must acquire a conductor license from the Motor Vehicles Department within a specified period.
• Minimum 5 years of driving experience in heavy passenger vehicles with more than 30 seats, proven via Motor Transport Workers Welfare Fund contribution receipts or work experience certificates from government institutions.

General Skills (for Conductor / Driver-cum-Conductor): Must know basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and read/write Malayalam and English.

Physical & Medical Standards

Height: Minimum 158 cm

Chest (Normal): Minimum 76 cm

Vision Standards:

• Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen for both right and left eyes
• Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen for both eyes
• Perfect eyesight is mandatory for both eyes without color blindness, eye diseases, or eyelid disorders. Medical certificates from a government ophthalmologist and a civil surgeon/doctor ranking not less than civil surgeon are mandatory.
