Qualification : Kerala Forest Recruitment 2026
- SSLC or its equivalent examination recognized by the Government of India or Government of Kerala.
- Driving License & Experience: Must possess a valid Motor Boat Driving License issued by a competent authority., Minimum 3 years of experience as a Boat Driver (acquired after acquiring the basic educational qualification)., License must remain valid throughout all stages of selection.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge in motor boat engine mechanisms and the ability to carry out minor repairs (to be tested in a Practical Test conducted by KPSC).
- 50m swimming trial within 2 minutes.
- 2 minutes floating ability at the deeper side of the swimming pool.
- (Must pass both events).
Height: Minimum 168 cm (Relaxed to 160 cm for SC/ST candidates).
Chest: Minimum 81 cm with a minimum expansion of 5 cm (No relaxation in chest expansion for SC/ST).
Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Must qualify in 5 out of the 8 events listed below (One Star Standards):
- 100 Meters Run: 14 Seconds
- High Jump: 132.2 cm
- Long Jump: 457.2 cm
- Putting the Shot (7264 g): 609.6 cm
- Throwing the Cricket Ball: 6096 cm
- Rope Climbing (hands only): 365.8 cm
- Pull Ups or Chinning: 8 times
- 1500 Meters Run: 5 minutes 44 Seconds
- Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen (Both eyes, without glasses)
- Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen (Both eyes, without glasses)
- Colour Vision: Normal
- Night Blindness: Nil
- Perfect hearing, no paralysis, fully flexible joints, normal nervous system.
- Candidates must submit a two-part Medical Certificate (Part A from an Ophthalmologist and Part B from an Assistant Surgeon/Junior Consultant).

- Mandatory Training: Selected candidates under direct recruitment must undergo training for up to 3 months at a Forest Training School.
General Information : Kerala Forest Recruitment 2026
- The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall be valid for 10 years from the date of uploading. Candidates who create new profile should upload photograph taken within 6 months. There is no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of photographs.No application fee is required. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password.
- Before the final submission of the application on the profile, candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User-ID for further communication with the Commission. Application submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission. Candidates are advised to keep a print out or soft copy of the online application for future reference.
- Candidates can take the print out of the application by clicking on the link 'My Applications' in their profile. All correspondences with the Commission, regarding the application should be accompanied with the print out of the application.
