Salary Details : TN Post Office Recruitment 2023
- Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) : Pay Matrix of Rs. 19900-63200/- + Admissible Allowances.
- For UR & EWS: 18 to 27 years
- For SC & ST : Relaxable by 5 years
- For OBC : Relaxable by 3 years
- For Government Servants upto 40 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by Central Government
- For Ex- Serviceman upto a maximum of 3 years [08 ( 3+ 5 ) years for SC & ST and 06 (3+3) years for OBC] after deduction of the Military Service rendered from the actual age].
- (i) Possession of a valid driving license for light & heavy motor vehicles.
- (ii) Knowledge of Motor Mechanism (The candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicle
- (iii) Experience of driving light & heavy motor vehicle for at least three years.
- (iv) Pass in 10th Standard from a recognized Board or Institute.
- Desirable qualification: Three years’ service as Home Guard or Civil Volunteers.
- Along with the application form an Indian Postal order for Rs. 100/- (or) UCR receipt to be taken in any post office should be enclosed towards application fee. SC/ST/Women candidates are exempted from the fees.
