Salary Details : Cochin Shipyard Recruitment 2023

• 1st year : ₹23,300 (Consolidated pay per month ) ₹4,900 (Compensation for extra hours of Work)
• 2nd year : ₹24,000 (Consolidated pay per month ) ₹5,000 (Compensation for extra hours of Work)
• 3rd year : ₹24,800(Consolidated pay per month ) ₹5,100 (Compensation for extra hours of Work)

Age Limit : Cochin Shipyard Recruitment 2023

• The upper age limit prescribed for all the posts shall not exceed 30 years as on 28 July 2023, i.e. applicants should be born on or after 29 July 1993.
• The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates in posts reserved for them.
• The upper age limit shall be relaxable for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) & Ex-servicemen as per Government of India guidelines subject to a maximum age of 45 years.

A. Fabrication Assistants On Contract

1. Sheet Metal Worker

• Pass in SSLC and ITI –NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Sheet Metal Worker or Fitter.
• Minimum of three years post qualification experience / training in fabrication, i.e. cutting, fit up and welding process

2. Welder

• Pass in SSLC and ITI –NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Welder/ Welder (Gas & Electric).
• Minimum of three years post qualification experience / training in the relevant trade.

B. Outfit Assistants on Contract

1. Fitter

• Pass in SSLC and ITI –NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Fitter.
• Minimum of three years post qualification experience/ training in the relevant trade.

2. Mechanic Diesel

• Pass in SSLC and ITI –NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Mechanic Diesel.
• Minimum of three years post qualification experience / training in the relevant trade.

3. Mechanic Motor Vehicle

• Pass in SSLC and ITI –NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Mechanic Motor Vehicle.
• Minimum of three years post qualification experience / training in the relevant trade.

4. Plumber

• Pass in SSLC and ITI –NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Plumber.
• Minimum of three years post qualification experience / training in the relevant trade.

5. Painter

• Pass in SSLC and ITI –NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Painter.
• Minimum of three years post qualification experience / training in the relevant trade.

6. Electrician

• Pass in SSLC and ITI –NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Electrician.
• Minimum of three years post qualification experience / training in the relevant trade.

7. Crane Operator(EOT)

• Pass in SSLC and ITI –NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Electrician or Electronic Mechanic.
• Minimum of three years post qualification experience/ training in operation of cranes (electrical).

8. Electronic Mechanic

• Pass in SSLC and ITI –NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Electronic Mechanic.
• Minimum of three years post qualification experience/ training in the relevant trade.

9. Instrument Mechanic

• Pass in SSLC and ITI –NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Instrument Mechanic.
• Minimum of three years post qualification experience/ training in the relevant trade.

10. Shipwright Wood

• Pass in SSLC and ITI –NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Shipwright Wood or Carpenter.
• Minimum of three years post qualification experience/ training in the relevant trade.

11. Machinist

• Pass in SSLC and ITI –NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Machinist.
• Minimum of three years post qualification experience/ training in the relevant trade.

12. Air Conditioner technician

• Pass in SSLC and ITI-NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic.
• Minimum of three years post qualification experience in firms in the air conditioning field.

13. Draughtsman (Civil)

• Pass in SSLC and ITI-NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Draughtsman (Civil).
• Minimum of three years post qualification experience/ training in the relevant trade.
