Salary Details (Training Period & Stipend) : : RRC South Central Railway Recruitment 2023

• Training will be arranged in accordance with the standards and syllabus prescribed by the Central Apprenticeship Council. The selected candidates will be paid stipend during Apprenticeship at the applicable rates as per extant instructions. Rates are liable to change as per rules and directions issued by Railway Board time to time.
• No Hostel accommodation will be provided and selected candidates will have to make their own arrangement during their training as per Apprentices Act’1961 and they will be released on completion of the training.

Age Limit : RRC South Central Railway Recruitment 2023

• Minimum Age Limit: 15 Years
• Maximum Age Limit: 24 Years

Upper Age Relaxation:

• The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC, and 10 years for the PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any - As per Govt. norms.

Qualification : RRC South Central Railway Recruitment 2023

• The candidate must have passed Matric/10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, from recognized Board and ITI in relevant trade (i.e National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training/State Council for Vocational Training).

Selection Process : RRC South Central Railway Recruitment 2023

• Selection for Apprenticeship training will be on the basis of merit list prepared in respect of all the candidates who apply against the notification for a particular Division/Unit. The merit list will be prepared taking the average of the %age marks obtained by the candidates in both Matriculation with minimum 50% (aggregate marks) and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.
• For the purpose of calculation of percentage of matriculation, marks obtained by the candidates in all subjects will be reckoned and not on the basis of marks of any subject or a group of subjects.
