RRB ALP Exam Pattern 2024

RRB's first stage for Assistant Loco Pilot posts of CBT and the second stage of CBT are online objective-type papers. The first stage of CBT consists of 4 sections that need to be completed in 60 minutes. The second stage of CBT is conducted in two parts. Part A will constitute 4 sections with 100 questions in total that need to be completed in 90 minutes. Part B will constitute 75 questions in relevant trade that need to be completed in 60 minutes.

The 1st stage CBT for Assistant Loco Pilot posts is common and consists of 75 questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, and General Awareness on Current Affairs

RRB ALP Exam Pattern- CBT 2

The 2nd stage CBT for Assistant Loco Pilot posts has two steps: Part A and B. Part A has four subjects - Maths, Basic Science and Engineering, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Awareness. Part B consists of questions from the relevant trade.

Computer-Based Aptitude Test (for Candidates who have opted for ALP)

The candidates need to score a minimum score of 42 marks in each of the test batteries to qualify. The ALP merit list will be drawn only from amongst the candidates qualifying in the Aptitude Test, with 70% weightage for the marks obtained in Part A of Second Stage CBT and 30% weightage for the marks obtained in Computer Based Aptitude Test
