- The pay scale of officers in Grade A is Rs.44,500-2500(4)-54500-2850(7)-74450-EB-2850(4)- 85850-3300(1)-89150 (17 years). Presently, the gross emolument including SEBI’s Contribution towards National Pension Scheme (NPS), Grade Allowance, Special Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Family Allowance, Local Allowance, Learning Allowance, Special Grade Allowance, etc. at Mumbai at the minimum of this scale is approx. ₹1,49,500/- p.m. without accommodation and ₹1,11,000/- p.m. with accommodation.
- Other benefits viz., Leave Fare Concession, Medical Expenses, Eye Refraction, Education Allowance, Financial Dailies, Book Grant, Briefcase, Conveyance Expenses, House Cleaning Allowance, Staff Furnishing Scheme, Scheme for Purchasing Computers, Subsidized Lunch Facility and all other benefits as admissible to an Officer in Grade A in SEBI.
Age Limit : SEBI Recruitment 2024
- A candidate must not have exceeded the age of 30 years as on March 31, 2024 i.e., candidate must have been born on or after April 01, 1994.Relaxation in age limits will be given as per applicable rules.
- 05 years for SC/ST candidates
- 03 years for OBC candidates
Qualification : SEBI Recruitment 2024
1.General
- Master’s Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma* (minimum two years’ duration) in any discipline/ Bachelor’s Degree in Law/ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute or Chartered Accountant/ Chartered Financial Analyst/ Company Secretary/ Cost Accountant.
- *(Equivalent to a Master’s Degree in that discipline as recognized by the Association of Indian Universities).
- Mandatory Educational Qualification - Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University/ Institute.
- Desirable Experience - Two years post qualification experience as an Advocate (including as an associate in an Advocate’s or Solicitor’s Office or Law firm) after being enrolled under the Advocates Act, 1961 (25 of 1961).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in any branch or Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a post graduate qualification (minimum two years’ duration) in computer science/ computer application/ information technology from a recognized University / Institute.
- Mandatory Educational Qualification - Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.
- Desirable Experience - (i) Working knowledge of electronic systems like CCTV surveillance systems, Addressable Security Alarm and Fire Alarm systems, EPABX, UPS system, etc. (ii) Experience in maintenance of lifts, pumps, air-conditioning plants, etc. (iii) Experience of administering construction projects in all its aspects and knowledge of PERT/CPM techniques.
- Master’s Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma* (minimum two years’ duration) in Economics/ Commerce/ Business Administration/ Econometrics/ Quantitative Economics/ Financial Economics / Mathematical Economics/ Business Economics/ Agricultural Economics/ Industrial Economics/ Business Analytics; OR
- Master’s Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma* (minimum two years’ duration) in Finance/ Quantitative Finance/ Mathematical Finance/ Quantitative Techniques/ International Finance/ Business Finance/ International and Trade Finance/ Project and Infrastructure Finance/ Agri. Business Finance; OR
- Master's Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma* (minimum two years’ duration) in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Statistics & Informatics/ Applied Statistics & Informatics/ Data Science/ Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning/ Big Data Analytics; OR
- Master's Degree in Mathematics and one year post graduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from a recognized University / Institute. *(Recognized equivalent to a Master’s Degree in that discipline by Association of Indian Universities).
- Master’s Degree in Hindi/ Hindi Translation with English as a subject at the Bachelor’s
- Degree level; OR
- Master’s Degree in Sanskrit/ English/ Economics/ Commerce with Hindi as a subject at Bachelor’s Degree level; OR
- Master's Degree in both English and Hindi/ Hindi Translation from a recognized University / Institute.
- Rs.1000/- as application fee cum intimation charges + 18% GST for Unreserved, OBC and EWSs category and Rs.100/- as intimation charges + 18% GST for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates.
Selection Process : SEBI Recruitment 2024
- Selection will be carried out in three phases. Phase I will be an on-line examination consisting of two papers. Candidates shortlisted in Phase I will appear for Phase II, which will also be in the form of on-line examination(s) consisting of two papers. Candidates shortlisted in Phase II will be called for an Interview. SEBI reserves the right to modify the selection procedure, if deemed fit.
