Salary Details : Cochin Shipyard Recruitment 2026

• The Consolidated pay for the candidates meeting the minimum experience requirement (i.e.3 years) is ₹ 23,300/- per month. They will also be eligible for compensation for extra hours of work up to ₹ 5,830/- per month.
• For completed year of on roll experience in CSL or other similar Shipyards, over and above the minimum required experience, higher pay may be offered to the candidates.

Age Limit : Cochin Shipyard Recruitment 2026

• The upper age limit prescribed for all the posts shall not exceed 45 years as on 07 February 2026, i.e. applicants should be born on or after 08 February 1981.
• The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates in posts reserved for them.
• The upper age limit shall be relaxable for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) & Ex-servicemen as per Government of India guidelines subject to a maximum age of 50 years.

A. Fabrication Assistant

1. Sheet Metal Worker

• Pass in SSLC and ITI – NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Sheet Metal Worker.
• Experience: Minimum of three years post qualification experience / training in fabrication, i.e. cutting, fit up and welding process.

2. Welder

• Pass in SSLC and ITI – NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Welder/ Welder (Gas & Electric).
• Experience: Minimum of three years post qualification experience / training in the relevant trade.

B. Outfit Assistant

1. Fitter

• Pass in SSLC and ITI – NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Fitter.
• Experience: Minimum of three years post qualification experience / training in the relevant trade.

2. Electrician

• Pass in SSLC and ITI – NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Electrician.
• Experience: Minimum of three years post qualification experience / training in the relevant trade.

3. Mechanic

• Diesel Pass in SSLC and ITI – NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Mechanic Diesel.
• Experience: Minimum of three years post qualification experience / training in the relevant trade.

4. Mechanic

• Motor Vehicle Pass in SSLC and ITI – NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Mechanic Motor Vehicle.
• Experience: Minimum of three years post qualification experience / training in the relevant trade.

5. Electronic

• Mechanic Pass in SSLC and ITI – NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Electronic Mechanic.
• Experience: Minimum of three years post qualification experience / training in the relevant trade.

6. Painter

• Pass in SSLC and ITI – NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Painter.

7. Machinist
