- A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
- Experience: Branch experience of Minimum 18 Months (Post Essential Academic Qualification Experience) as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or any Regional Rural Bank as listed in Second Schedule of Reserve Bank of India.

1. What is the minimum experience required to apply for this position?
To be eligible, candidates must have a minimum of 18 months of post-qualification experience as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank. This experience must be in a bank branch.
2. Can I apply for vacancies in a state where I do not speak the local language?
Candidates must be proficient in the mandatory local language of the state they are applying for. If you did not study the local language in 10th or 12th standard, you will be required to pass a Language Proficiency Test during the selection process.
3. What are the restrictions regarding transfers for Local Bank Officers (LBOs)?
LBOs are recruited for a specific state and are generally not eligible for inter-state transfers. You will remain within the recruitment state until you are promoted to Scale IV (SMGS-IV) or complete 12 years of service, whichever is earlier. You are also not eligible for postings in Zonal or Head Offices during this period.
4. Is there a service bond associated with this recruitment?
Yes. Selected candidates must execute a service bond to serve the bank for a minimum period of 3 years. If a candidate leaves before this period, they are liable to pay a bond amount equivalent to three months' gross salary plus applicable taxes.
5. What is the required CIBIL score for joining?
The bank requires a healthy credit history. Candidates must have a minimum CIBIL score of 650 or above at the time of joining. If you do not have a CIBIL history, you may still be considered, but any score below 650 will make you ineligible.
