Salary Details : RBI Recruitment 2026

• Selected candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs.78,450/-p.m. in the pay scale of Rs.78450-4050(9)-114900-EB-4050(2)-123000-4650(4)- Rs.1,41,600 (16years) applicable to Officers in Grade ‘B’ and they will also be eligible for Special Allowance, Grade Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, Special Grade Allowance, Learning Allowance, House Rent Allowance as per rules in force from time to time. At present, initial monthly gross emoluments (without HRA) are Rs.1,54,936/- (approximately). The House Rent Allowance of 15% of Pay will be paid, if accommodation is not provided by the Bank.

Age Limit : RBI Recruitment 2026

• A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on April 01, 2026 i.e., he/she must have been born not earlier than April 02, 1996 and not later than April 01, 2005.

Note: For candidates possessing M.Phil. and Ph.D. qualifications, the upper age limit is 32 and 34 years respectively.

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST : 05 years
• OBC : 03 years
• PwBD : 10 years (General/EWS), 13 years (OBC), 15 years (SC/ST)
• Ex-Servicemen / Ex-Bank Employees : 05 years
• Bank Officers (experience-based relaxation) : Up to 3 years ; upper age not to exceed 33 years including experience
• DEPR/DSIM – Master's with Research/Teaching Experience : Up to 03 years

Qualification : RBI Recruitment 2026

1. Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) – General

• Graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD if posts reserved for them) OR Post-Graduation with minimum 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD if posts reserved for them) in aggregate of all semesters/years.

2. Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) – DEPR

• Essential: MA/MSc in Economics or related Economics/Finance disciplines with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD if posts reserved) from a recognized Indian or Foreign University. Desirable: Doctorate in Economics, or research/teaching experience, or publication in standard journals.

3. Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) – DSIM

• Essential: Master's Degree with minimum 55% marks in Statistics/Mathematics/Data Science/AI/ML or related fields OR Four-year Bachelor's Degree with minimum 60% marks in the above fields (50% for SC/ST/PwBD if posts reserved). Desirable: Doctorate in related subjects; research/teaching experience and publications.
