- 1st Year: ₹23,300/month consolidated pay + ₹5,830/month for extra hours.
- 2nd Year: ₹24,000/month consolidated pay + ₹6,000/month for extra hours.
- 3rd Year: ₹24,800/month consolidated pay + ₹6,200/month for extra hours.
- a) The upper age limit prescribed for the post shall not exceed 40 years as on 03 October 2026 i.e. applicants should be born on or after 04 October 1986.
- b) Age relaxation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen shall be as per Government of India guidelines. However, in no case, age limit after applying all age relaxations shall exceed 50 years.
Qualification : Cochin Shipyard Recruitment 2026
- Three year Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery.
- Valid registration as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RN & RM) with the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council (KNMC).
- Experience:- One year of experience as Nurse in a: • Hospital OR • Nursing Home OR • Primary Health Centre OR • First Aid Centre OR • Occupational Health Centre (OHC) OR • Industrial Healthcare Facility OR • Similar Healthcare Establishment.
- Job Requirements:- The job primarily includes occupational healthcare, first aid, routine nursing care, emergency response, patient assessment, administration of prescribed medicines, maintenance of medical records, assistance to the Medical Officer, and support in occupational health activities and other nursing-related duties as assigned by the Medical Officer/competent authority. The selected candidate shall be required to work in general/shift duties, including rotational shifts.

b) Objective Type Test (30 Marks / 35 Minutes):
- General: 10 Marks
- Discipline Related: 20 Marks (No negative marking)
- Minimum Pass Marks: 50% of total marks in each test for Unreserved candidates (40% for PwBD).
- Final Rank List: Prepared based on the total marks secured in both the Objective and Practical tests.
