Qualification : SSC CHSL Recruitment 2026

1. For Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ DEO Grade ‘A’ in Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Ministry of Culture:
  • 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
2. For LDC/JSA and DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ (except DEOs in Department/ Ministry mentioned above):
  • Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

  • SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman/Female : Fee exempted
  • Correction Charges: Rs.200 for the first modification; Rs.500 for the second modification.

Selection Process : SSC CHSL Recruitment 2026

Tier-I (Computer-Based Exam): Objective Multiple-Choice Questions covering 4 sections (English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness). Total 100 questions (200 marks) for a 60-minute duration with negative marking of 0.50 marks per wrong answer.

Tier-II (Computer-Based Exam & Skill Test): Conducted in two sessions on the same day.
  • Session-I: Section-I (Mathematical Abilities & Reasoning), Section-II (English & General Awareness), Section-III (Computer Knowledge Test - Qualifying).
  • Session-II: Section-IV (Skill Test for DEO / Typing Test for LDC/JSA - Qualifying).
  • Negative Marking in Tier-II: 1 mark deducted per wrong answer in Section-I, Section-II, and Section-III.
