- Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) : Pay Level-2 (Rs.19,900 - Rs.63,200).
- Data Entry Operator (DEO) : Pay Level-4 (Rs.25,500 - Rs.81,100) and Level-5 (Rs.29,200 - Rs.92,300)
- Data Entry Operator, Grade ‘A’: Pay Level-4 (Rs.25,500 - Rs.81,100).
- 18 to 27 years (Candidates born between 02-08-1999 and 01-08-2008). Permissible age relaxations apply: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD (Unreserved), 13 years for PwBD (OBC), and 15 years for PwBD (SC/ST).
Qualification : SSC CHSL Recruitment 2026
1. For Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ DEO Grade ‘A’ in Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Ministry of Culture:
- 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
- Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

Selection Process : SSC CHSL Recruitment 2026
Tier-I (Computer-Based Exam): Objective Multiple-Choice Questions covering 4 sections (English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness). Total 100 questions (200 marks) for a 60-minute duration with negative marking of 0.50 marks per wrong answer.
Tier-II (Computer-Based Exam & Skill Test): Conducted in two sessions on the same day.
- Session-I: Section-I (Mathematical Abilities & Reasoning), Section-II (English & General Awareness), Section-III (Computer Knowledge Test - Qualifying).
- Session-II: Section-IV (Skill Test for DEO / Typing Test for LDC/JSA - Qualifying).
- Negative Marking in Tier-II: 1 mark deducted per wrong answer in Section-I, Section-II, and Section-III.
