Salary Details : IBPS PO Recruitment 2026
- Basic Pay Scale : Rs.48,480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-Rs.85,920
- Candidates will also be eligible for allowances and perquisites as per the rules of the respective participating banks.
- Minimum Age Limit : 20 years
- Maximum Age Limit : 30 years
- A candidate must have been born between 02.07.1996 and 01.07.2006 (both dates inclusive).
Qualification : IBPS PO Recruitment 2026
- A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
- SC/ST/PwBD Candidates : Rs.175/- (inclusive of GST)
- All Other Candidate : Rs.850/- (inclusive of GST)

a. Preliminary Examination (Objective Test)
- English Language: 30 Questions | 30 Marks | 20 Minutes
- Quantitative Aptitude: 35 Questions | 30 Marks | 20 Minutes
- Reasoning Ability: 35 Questions | 40 Marks | 20 Minutes
- Total: 100 Questions | 100 Marks | 60 Minutes (Candidates must score a minimum cut-off in each section to qualify )
- Reasoning: 40 Questions | 60 Marks | 45 Minutes
- General/Economy/Banking/Digital/Financial Awareness: 50 Questions | 60 Marks | 35 Minutes
- English Language: 40 Questions | 20 Marks | 35 Minutes
- Data Analysis & Interpretation: 40 Questions | 60 Marks | 45 Minutes
- Descriptive Paper (Essay & Comprehension): 2 Questions | 25 Marks | 30 Minutes
- Total: 172 Questions | 225 Marks | 190 Minutes
- A penalty of one-fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for each incorrect answer in both Preliminary and Main exams. Unanswered questions will attract no penalty.
- Candidates shortlisted in the Main exam will be called for a 100-mark interview.
- Minimum qualifying marks in the interview are 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD).
- The weightage ratio of the Online Main Exam and Interview for final merit list calculation will be 80:20.
