1. Fixed Stipend During Training
During the entire duration of training at the Pre-Commission Training Academy (PCTA), Gentleman Cadets receive a fixed monthly stipend:
- Stipend Amount : Rs.56,100 Per Month
2. Pay Scale by Rank (As per 7th CPC Pay Matrix)
Upon successful completion of training, officers are commissioned into the rank of Lieutenant. The rank-wise pay levels and pay scales are structured as follows:
- Lieutenant : Level- 10 Rs.56,100 - Rs.1,77,500
- Captain : Level- 10B Rs.61,300 - Rs.1,93,900
- Major : Level- 11 Rs.69,400 - Rs.2,07,200
- Lieutenant Colonel : Level- 12A Rs.1,21,200 - Rs.2,12,400

Officers from the rank of Lieutenant up to Brigadier are entitled to a fixed Military Service Pay (MSP):
- MSP Amount: Rs.15,500 per month (Fixed)
- 20 to 27 years as of 01 April 2027 (Candidates born between 02 April 2000 and 31 March 2007, both days inclusive). (The Date of Birth recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary School Examination Certificate will be final).

- Candidates who have passed the requisite Engineering Degree course or are in the final year of their Engineering Degree course are eligible to apply.
- Final year candidates must pass the engineering examination by 01 April 2027 and produce the degree certificate within 12 weeks of the commencement of training at the Pre-Commission Training Academy (PCTA).
- Failure to submit the degree certificate within the stipulated timeline will result in the recovery of the cost of training, stipend, and allowances received.

Selection Process : Indian Army Recruitment 2025
- Shortlisting Cut-off: Based on the cumulative percentage of marks up to the 6th semester/3rd year of engineering. Cut-off lists will be published in the first week of September 2026.
- SSB Interview: A 5-day evaluation process conducted between October and December 2026 at centers in Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar.
- Training Location & Duration: Officer Training Academy (OTA), Gaya, Bihar, for 49 weeks (starting April 2027 to March 2028). Successful completion awards a 'Post Graduate Diploma in Military Studies and Defense Management' by Magadh University.
- Marital Status: Candidates must not marry during training. If a candidate marries during training, he will be discharged, and the cost of training will be recovered from him.
