Age Limit : Kerala PSC Recruitment 2026
- Direct Recruitment (Cat No. 084/2026): 18–40 years. Only candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2008 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post, with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Communities, subject to the condition that the maximum age shall not exceed 50 years.
- By-Transfer (Cat No. 085/2026): Upper age limit is not applicable.
- SSLC or its equivalent.
- Higher Grade Certificate in Typewriting English (KGTE) and Computer Word Processing or its equivalent.
- Lower Grade Certificate in Typewriting Malayalam (KGTE) or its equivalent.
- Typewriting Certificates issued by the Government alone will be accepted as proof of qualification. Certificates issued from private Typewriting institutes will not be considered.
- Candidates belonging to Linguistic Minorities whose First Language for SSLC is a language other than Malayalam are exempted from possessing the Malayalam Typewriting (Lower) qualification at the time of application. However, if appointed, they must acquire the qualification within four years, failing which they will be discharged from service.
- Ex-Servicemen are exempted from the Malayalam Typewriting (Lower) qualification for recruitment, subject to the condition that they acquire it before the completion of their probation.
- Service as Clerk/Writer in the Defense Forces for 15 years is deemed a sufficient qualification to apply, provided the Malayalam Typewriting qualification is acquired before the completion of probation.

General Information : Kerala PSC Recruitment 2026
- The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall be valid for 10 years from the date of uploading. Candidates who create new profile should upload photograph taken within 6 months. There is no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of photographs.No application fee is required. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password.
- Before the final submission of the application on the profile, candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User-ID for further communication with the Commission. Application submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission. Candidates are advised to keep a print out or soft copy of the online application for future reference.
- Candidates can take the print out of the application by clicking on the link 'My Applications' in their profile. All correspondences with the Commission, regarding the application should be accompanied with the print out of the application.
- The application will be summarily rejected if non complaince with the notification is found in due course of processing. Original documents to prove qualification, age, Community etc. have to be produced as and when called for.
