Qualification : Cochin Shipyard Recruitment 2026
1. For ITI Trades (I-A)
- Pass in Xth standard and Pass in ITI (National Trade Certificate - NTC).
- Pass in Xth standard.
- Pass in XIIth standard / ITI (National Trade Certificate - NTC).
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education, a University, or an Institution recognized by the State/Central Government in the relevant discipline.
- Graduation (other than performing arts/B.Tech) such as BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, BCA, etc.
Ineligibility Criteria
- Candidates falling under any of the following categories are not eligible to apply:
- Graduates/Postgraduates from IITs, IIMs, National Law Universities, IISER, NIDs, IIITS, and IISc.
- Those having qualifications such as CA, CMA, CS, MBBS, BDS, MD, MS, MBA or equivalent, MPhil, and PhD.
- Those undergoing any skill, apprenticeship, internship, or training program under Central or State Government schemes.
- Those who have completed apprenticeship or training under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) or National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) at any point.
- If the income of any family member of the candidate exceeds Rs. 12 lakh in the preceding financial year as on the date of application submission.
- If any member of the family is a permanent/regular government employee.
