Key Allowances
Age Limit : Indian Army TGC Recruitment 2026- Dearness Allowance (DA): Admissible at the same rates and conditions as civilian personnel.
- Technical Allowance: Tier-I: ₹3,000/pm, Tier-II: ₹4,500/pm.
- Para Reserve Allowance: ₹2,625/pm.
- Field Area / Hardship / Risk Allowances: Varying from ₹1,200/pm up to ₹42,500/pm (Siachen Allowance) depending on posting.
- Dress Allowance: ₹20,000/- per year.
- Transport Allowance (TPTA): ₹7,200 + DA (Higher TPTA Cities) / ₹3,600 + DA (Other Places) per month.
- Children Education Allowance: ₹2,812.50/- per month per child (up to 2 eldest surviving children, classes Pre-Primary to 12th).
- Hostel Subsidy: ₹6,750/- per month per child.
- Insurance Cover (AGIF): ₹1.25 Crore insurance coverage during training (Monthly subscription: ₹12,500).
- 20 to 27 years as on 01 July 2027. (Candidates bornbetween July 01, 2000 and June 30, 2007, both dates inclusive).
- Documentary Proof: Only the Date of Birth recorded in the Matriculation / Secondary School Examination Certificate will be accepted.
Qualification : Indian Army TGC Recruitment 2026
- Candidates should possess a B.E. / B.Tech degree or M.Sc Computer Science in the notified Engineering Streams.
- Candidates with degrees from foreign universities are not eligible.
- Final year students can apply provided they submit proof of passing the Engineering Degree Examination along with marksheets of all semesters/years by July 01, 2027, and produce the degree certificate within 12 weeks from commencement of training.
- Cumulative percentage up to the 6th semester (8th semester for B.Arch / 2nd semester for M.Sc) must be above the approved cut-off percentage.
- Candidates whose final results will be declared after July 01, 2027, are not eligible.
- 2.4 Km Run: 10 Minutes 30 Seconds

SSB Interview (Two Stage):
Merit List: Prepared stream-wise based on marks scored in the SSB interview alone. (If marks are tied, older candidates are ranked higher).

- Stage-2: Psychological Tests, Group Tasks, and Personal Interview.
