Note : (1) All other things being equal, candidates with a degree in Statistics, Economics, Social Service or Social work will be given preference.
(2) Ex-servicemen with following educational qualifications can also apply for the post. a) Minimum general Educational qualification of SSLC Standard. b) At least 3 years service as Commissioned Officer or 5 years service as Junior Commissioned Officer in the Armed Forces or equivalent service in respective rank in the Navy or in Air Force.
