Qualification : RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2026
1. Nursing Superintendent
- Certificate as Registered Nurse and Midwife after passing a 3-year course in General Nursing and Midwifery from a school of Nursing or other institution recognised by the Indian Nursing Council; OR B.Sc Nursing.
- Candidates who obtained the prescribed qualification through special concessions applicable to Auxiliary Nurse Midwives, Midwives and B Grade Nurses are also eligible.
- B.Sc. plus: Diploma in Haemodialysis; OR Two years' satisfactory in-house Training/Experience in Haemodialysis work in a reputed institution, with proof.
- B.Sc. in Dialysis Techniques, Dialysis Technology or Renal Dialysis Technology are also eligible.
- B.Sc. with Chemistry as a Main/Optional subject in any branch of Chemistry; plus: One-year Diploma in Health/Sanitary Inspector; OR
- One-year National Trade Certificate (NTC) in Health Sanitary Inspector awarded by NCVT, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.
- Bachelor in Audiology, Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) from a recognised University.
- Registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) is required.
- Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy (Allopathic) from a Central or State Government recognised University/Institute and registration as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948; OR
- Doctor of Pharmacy from a recognised University/Institute and registration as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
- 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry; and
- Diploma in Radiography/X-Ray Technician/Radiodiagnosis Technology of 2 years from a recognised Institute.
- Several relevant B.Sc./degree qualifications in Radiography, Medical Imaging Technology and Radiation Technology are also recognised as specified in the notification.
- 10+2 / Graduation in Science with Certificate/Diploma/Degree in ECG Laboratory Technology, Cardiology, Cardiology Technician or Cardiology Techniques from a reputed institution.
- Certificate should be of a minimum duration of one year.
- B.Sc. in Optometry; OR
- Diploma in Ophthalmic Technician of 3–4 years duration.
- Registration with the concerned Council/Licensing body is required.
- 12th (10+2) in Science plus: Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT); OR Certificate Course in Medical Lab Technology equivalent to DMLT, subject to the conditions specified in the notification.
- The course must satisfy the prescribed recognition, duration, full-time training and examination requirements.
- 12th Science plus B.Sc. Medical Lab Technology is also eligible.

- General Category : ₹500 (Out of ₹500, ₹400 will be refunded, after applicable bank charges, to candidates who appear for the CBT.
- SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PwBD/Female/Transgender/Minority/EBC Candidates : ₹250 (The ₹250 fee will be refunded, after applicable bank charges, to candidates who appear for the CBT)

Examination Medium

Medical Examination
Candidates shortlisted for Document Verification must pass the prescribed medical fitness test conducted by the Railway Administration.
The notification specifies B-1, C-1 and C-2 medical standards, including prescribed distance vision, near vision and other visual requirements. Candidates who fail the prescribed medical standard will not be considered for empanelment and no alternative appointment will be provided.
