1. Principal Project Associate
- Ph.D in Chemistry/ Material Science / Physics or equivalent with four years experience in R& D in industrial or academic/resear ch institutions in the field of 2D materials and devices, CVD, Lithography techniques, Microscopy techniques, Electrical/Electr onic characterization, Clean room facilities etc
- Essential: First Class/60% marks in M.Sc. Chemistry/Mate rial Science/Physics. Desirable: Experience in 2D materials and devices, CVD, Lithography techniques, Material characterization, Clean room facilities etc. Only NET/ GATE qualified will be considered for JRF
- Essential: First Class/ 60% of Marks in BE/BTech in Electronics Engg or equivalent. Desirable: Experience in device design and fabrication, MEMS facilities etc. Only NET/ GATE qualified will be considered for JRF
- First Class/60% of Marks in Diploma in Electrical/Electr onics/ Mechanical Engg. Desirable: Experience in device design and fabrication, operating and maintaining sophisticated equipments and facilities etc
- Doctoral degree in Chemistry/Physi cs/Materials Science/Electron ic Science or Masters Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electrical/Electr onics/Instrument ation/ Mechanical with 20 years of R&D experience in academics/resea rch institution/indust ries. The required experience should be in ;- a. Managing advanced class100 or 1000 clean room facility or micro/nanofabrica tion facility with core responsibilities in operations and handling of sophisticated instruments and other facilities including clean room utility sections and related technologies (HVAC, Electrical, Gas lines , DI water plant, nitrogen plant etc.) b. Working experience in systems for Electronic Device fabrication & Characterizations such as Deposition techniques/PECV D/Sputtering , Lithography, Diffusion, Reactive Ion Etching, AFM, FESEM, Raman Microscope, Electrical/Electro nic Characterization etc. c. Expertise in building Management system, chemical handling, Leakage and safety etc.

General Terms and Conditions : CMET Recruitment 2022
- All the Posts are purely temporary and the appointment will be initially for a period of One Year and may be extended upto the completion of the Project. However, the performance of the staff will be reviewed on completion of six months service to decide the suitability of further retention. If found not suitable for further retention she/he will be terminated without any notice.
- On appointment, it will not confer any right on the appointee for claim for regular appointment.
- Appointment of candidates are subject to verification of original documents.
- Selected candidate will be required to produce a medical certificate of fitness in the prescribed form, from a Government Doctor not below the rank of Civil Surgeon and character certificates from two Gazetted Officers working in Central/State Government at the time of joining the post.
- Selected candidate will be required to report for duty as mentioned in the offer (normally within 10 days from the date of offer) and no extension will be given.
- Selected candidate will be required to work till the completion of the project and resigning from the post during the currency of the project period shall not normally be entertained.
